믿음과 말이 일치되어야 합니다. 우리의 마음속에 믿음이 들어오면 눈에는 아무 증거 안 보이고 귀에 아무 소리 안 들리며 손에 잡히는 것 없고 앞길이 칠흑같이 어두울지라도 입으로 시인해야 합니다. 왜냐하면 말에는 기적을 가져오는 창조적 능력이 있기 때문입니다.

'어떤 할머니 집사님 한 분이 산 너머에 있는 교회를 다녔습니다. 별로 높지 않은 산이었지만 할머니 집사님이 산을 넘기란 여간 힘든 일이 아니었습니다. 그래서 할머니는 “하나님, 산을 넘으려니 몹시 힘이 듭니다. 이 산을 옮겨 주옵소서.”라고 기도를 드렸습니다.
